Phil Kline's Unsilent Night: Nashville
We invite you to join us for Boombox Holiday Caroling with Phil Kline’s Unsilent Night! We will meet at Parthenon at 7pm and begin walking at 7:30pm. Full route TBD, but will be approximately 1.5 miles.
If you wish to join us this year, PLEASE REGISTER here, where you can tell us if you need a CD or if you will bring your own iDevice. This is so we know how many CDs to bring! We will provide you with a copy of the audio tracks on CD or as an audio file once you get in touch with us. We are unable to supply tapes at this time, but you are welcome to bring and use your own! Tracks are also available at http://unsilentnight.com/participate.html
This event takes no musical training, and we'd love to have as many people join us as possible this year. All ages are welcome to participate!
Everyone participating simply needs to secure speakers of some kind: this can be battery powered that plug into your smartphone (there is a free Unsilent Night app), or you can get a boombox powered by batteries and play the tape or CD. Participants should not plan to play the audio on the speaker on your laptop, smartphone, or tablet only as it does not produce enough volume and sounds distorted. The bigger the speaker, the better! Also, if you are using your smart phone app, be sure to download it before you arrive (it is too large to download via data, you will need Wi-Fi).
Happy Caroling,
